CapKids is the children’s ministry of CapChurch, where we create space for kids to explore faith, encounter God, and grow in relationship with one another.
Through story, play, creativity, worship, and relationship, we want kids to know that they are an important part of our church community and that there is a place for them at God’s table.
We believe kids learn and grow through more than just sitting and listening. CapKids creates opportunities to wonder, ask questions, create, play, move, and build relationships.
Our team of staff and volunteers is committed to creating spaces where children feel welcomed, safe, and free to be themselves, while supporting them as they explore what it means to follow Jesus.
And because kids are an important part of our whole church family, we love finding opportunities for different generations to worship, celebrate, and participate together.
CapKids on Sundays
On All Church Sundays, CapKids programming is available for children ages 3–12 in a separate space from the main service.
Kids gather in age-based groups for stories, activities, crafts, games, and conversation as they explore faith and biblical themes with our amazing CapKids Leaders.
There is also a small space available for babies and toddlers during the service for families who need it.
All Church Sundays
On Small Church Sundays, CapKids is woven into our smaller community gatherings. Depending on the Small Church location, kids may participate alongside the wider group or gather for CapKids stories, activities, and age-appropriate content.
Our hope is to create opportunities for kids to be known, included, and connected within the life of the church—not just as attendees, but as an important part of our community. Some Small Churches are more kid-oriented and include families specifically with young babies and children.
